Janie Escamilla’s love of skin care began at her abuela’s salon.
 

My love of skin care began in my abuela’s salon in Texas.

There was magic in watching the way she cared for the women of our town, giving them a few beautiful moments of serenity in their busy lives.

I came to California more than 25 years ago for college and a career in the tech industry. When things in my own life felt hectic, I would remember the oasis my grandmother created and wish for that sense of balance and calm.

Ultimately, I chose a new profession that would allow me to fully integrate wellness into my daily routine. I founded Moonstone Skin & Body Care in Novato to offer natural and effective skin care treatments that leave my clients feeling grounded, balanced and rejuvenated.
