Darice loves connecting with clients and teaching them about how to care for their skin. You’ll find her facial treatments both effective and relaxing – with real results you can see and feel after you leave the treatment room.

When she’s not in the spa, Darice enjoys spending quality time with her large family and enjoying the outdoors. She also likes gardening, cooking, camping, hiking and going to the movies with her family and friends.

With over 25 years of experience, Corey Ridler brings both seasoned expertise and a compassionate touch to every service she provides as a licensed esthetician.

When she is not in the treatment room, Corey enjoys hiking, rowing, and trips to the beach (her personal sanctuary). She finds joy in the performing arts, like watching her daughters dance, and celebrating her son’s latest tattoo art creations.

Samantha Edrich is a licensed esthetician and barber specializing in corrective skincare, acne treatments, and customized facials. Her approach is results-driven and highly personalized, helping clients achieve clear, healthy, confident skin.

Over the past three years, Samantha built her own practice in Lake County, grounded in connection, trust, and one-on-one care. Now based in Marin, she is excited to bring that same level of attention and expertise to Moonstone, and to build lasting relationships within the community.

Hope Brissette is the spa manager at Moonstone Skincare.

Hope is here to take care of you outside of the treatment room – including helping you purchase the right skin care products and scheduling you for an upcoming appointment.

Hope is a former make-up artist who has loved spending her career helping women feel confident. In addition to her role at the spa, Hope is also a mother, a talented tarot card reader and a fan of listening to audiobooks.

RECEPTIONIST

Marni Taylor is the receptionist at Moonstone Skincare. She spent 30 years as a medical assistant, focusing on women’s health.

Now retired, Marni has created an incredible life for herself by finding a way to pursue her many passions. 

Marni continues her lifelong dedication to health care by working at Novato Community Hospital. She nurtures her love of basketball by working in retail sales at Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors. She lends her incredible eye for design and color to customers from behind the counter of Marin’s boutique gift shop, Jolt Gifts in San Anselmo.

In her rare downtime, Marni enjoys spending time with her husband, Charly, and son, Brandon, as well as walking their dogs, William and Stella, and exercising regularly. You can find Marni behind the desk of Moonstone once or twice a month.

MASTER ESTHETICIAN & FOUNDER

Janie Escamilla is a master esthetician, training consultant for Viktoria DeAnn Peptide Cosmeceuticals, and founder of Moonstone Skin & Body Care.

She was introduced to the field of esthetics as a child at her abuela’s salon in Texas.

Janie moved to California more than 25 years ago for college and a career in the tech industry. When things in life felt hectic, she remembered the oasis her grandmother had created and wished for that sense of balance and calm.

Janie received her esthetics license from the Cinta Aveda Institute and additional training under Sandra Morrow, MD, at Union Street Medspa in San Francisco. She founded Moonstone Skin & Body Care in Novato in 2010.

Janie currently lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and fur babies. She travels back to Novato regularly to continue to serve her long-time clients.

OWNER

Susannah Nation is the owner of Moonstone Skincare, a longtime Novato resident, former skincare formulator, small-business champion, and firm believer that taking care of people matters as much as taking care of their skin.

Before Moonstone, Susannah founded Real Kind, a Novato-based skincare company where she developed and hand-crafted natural skincare products. That experience gave her a lasting appreciation for products that are thoughtfully made and actually work.

Susannah has lived in Novato since 2010 and has been involved in the community through local schools, the Novato Mothers Club, Novato Chamber of Commerce, animal rescue work, and supporting other local businesses whenever she can.

For Susannah, Moonstone is about excellent skincare, of course. But it’s also about knowing people’s names, treating people well, supporting the team, and being a good neighbor.
