She has practiced at medspas in Arizona and in Sonoma County. Darice has specialized training in medical aesthetics, including peels, microdermabrasion and dermaplaning.
Darice loves connecting with clients and teaching them about how to care for their skin. You’ll find her facial treatments both effective and relaxing – with real results you can see and feel after you leave the treatment room.
When she’s not in the spa, Darice enjoys spending quality time with her large family and enjoying the outdoors. She also likes gardening, cooking, camping, hiking and going to the movies with her family and friends.

She’s also our online store manager, assists with our social media outreach, and acts as our microcurrent body sculpting specialist.
Hope is a former make-up artist who has loved spending her career helping women feel confident. In addition to her role at the spa, Hope is also a mother, a talented tarot card reader and a fan of listening to audiobooks.

Marni Taylor is the receptionist at Moonstone Skin & Body Care. She spent 30 years as a medical assistant, focusing on women’s health.

Now retired, Marni has created an incredible life for herself by finding a way to pursue her many passions.
Marni continues her lifelong dedication to health care by working at Novato Community Hospital. She nurtures her love of basketball by working in retail sales at Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors. She lends her incredible eye for design and color to customers from behind the counter of Marin’s boutique gift shop, Jolt Gifts in San Anselmo.In her rare downtime, Marni enjoys spending time with her husband, Charly, and son, Brandon, as well as walking their dogs, William and Stella, and exercising regularly. You can find Marni behind the desk of Moonstone Skin & Body Care once or twice a week.

Janie Escamilla is a master esthetician, training consultant for Viktoria DeAnn Peptide Cosmeceuticals, and founder of Moonstone Skin & Body Care.

She was introduced to the field of esthetics as a child at her abuela’s salon in Texas.
Janie moved to California more than 25 years ago for college and a career in the tech industry. When things in life felt hectic, she remembered the oasis her grandmother had created and wished for that sense of balance and calm.
Janie received her esthetics license from the Cinta Aveda Institute and additional training under Sandra Morrow, MD, at Union Street Medspa in San Francisco. She founded Moonstone Skin & Body Care in Novato in 2010.
Janie currently lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and fur babies. She travels back to Novato regularly to continue to serve her long-time clients.

Susannah Nation is the owner of Moonstone Skin & Body Care, bringing a lifelong passion for empowering women with healthy and natural skin care solutions.

With a background in skin care formulation, her drive is to uncover ways for women to gain confidence in how they look and feel through their skin.
Susannah founded Real Kind, a Novato-based skin care company known for its products that effectively harnessed the power of natural ingredients. Having suffered from cystic acne as a teen and young adult, she knows how having flawed skin can compromise a woman’s confidence.
A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism, Susannah moved to the Bay Area in 2003 and has been a resident of Novato since 2010.
The mother of a high school student, she has been active in the Novato community for over 15 years, including serving on the board of the Novato Mothers Club, volunteering at the Marin Humane Society, and being active in her child’s schools. Both she and her husband also actively support their Bahia neighborhood, and have built strong ties with local businesses.
