Moonstone Skincare Named Novato Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year

We are deeply honored to share that Moonstone Skincare has been named Small Business of the Year by the Novato Chamber of Commerce.

This recognition means more to us than a plaque or a title. It reflects the values we have intentionally built this business around, and the way we show up for our team, our clients, and our community every single day.

The Novato Chamber of Commerce selects Small Business of the Year recipients based on more than financial success. Their criteria include community involvement, ethical business practices, leadership, job creation, and meaningful contributions to the local economy. Being chosen through that lens is what makes this honor so meaningful.

Since purchasing Moonstone in March 2025, our focus has been clear and steady. We set out to build a business that proves skincare can be both results-driven and deeply human.

That has meant raising wages, adding benefits, and creating more stable, well-paid work for a team of local working mothers. It has meant expanding services and doubling our treatment space to better serve our clients. It has meant investing in advanced technology and continuing education so our estheticians can act not as salespeople, but as true skincare coaches guiding long-term skin health.

It has also meant rooting Moonstone firmly in Novato.

We are proud to support local schools, nonprofits, and community initiatives. We believe that small businesses are not just part of a town’s charm, they are part of its infrastructure.
