Join the Moonstone Skin and Body Care Team in Novato!

Moonstone is consistently voted “Best Of” in Marin County. We are in search of a licensed esthetician, with a valid CA Esthetics or Cosmetologist license, who loves skin care as much as we do.

This is a part-time position with the ability to grow into full-time. Candidates should be able to work a regular schedule, including evenings until 6 pm and at least one Saturday a month (extra credit if you are available 2 or more Saturdays a month). Ideally, we’d like to hire someone who can work at least 20 hours a week. Bonus extra credit if you can work more.

We provide ongoing training and education, a supportive team environment, competitive wages + commission + gratuities, and discounts on retail products and services trade.

General pay rate is $20/hour + 15% commission on services provided + tiered commission on product sales based on dollar amount sold per month.

Our dream team member’s qualifications and expectations include:

  • Holding valid CA Esthetician or Cosmetologist license (non-negotiable)

  • Providing exquisite customer service

  • Living within 15 minutes of downtown Novato

  • Being a team player with a strong work ethic and stable dependability

  • Having a desire to learn new techniques

  • Always maintaining a professional appearance and attitude, and sound professional judgment

  • Desiring to work in a fun, fast-paced environment

  • Having experience providing custom facial treatments, waxing services (both face and body, including Brazilian), and microdermabrasion

  • Retail sales

  • Having sales experience is a plus

  • Upholding Covid-19 requirements

  • You’ll have a leg up on the competition if you are also a licensed massage therapist but not required.
